Founding 151 Campaign
In celebration of Huntington’s 150 birthday, we launched our Founding 150 Campaign late last year to help turn our dreams of a local children’s museum into a reality. As the city grew another year, our campaign grew in donors. The Founding 150 Campaign exceeded expectations thanks to 151 donors contributing over $175,000!
We are incredibly grateful for the support! These contributions have allowed us to hire an architect, start developing exhibits, cover ongoing organizational expenses, support community outreach, and so much more. In 2021, Huntington Children’s Museum dedicated over 900 volunteer hours to providing 1,000 children with informal STEAM opportunities. Additionally, the early success of this campaign allowed our founders to confidently provide funding to purchase our future home on Huntington’s West End and begin renovation.
