SandFest
Huntington Children’s Museum is teaming up with Marshall University’s Office of Student Affairs to host our second annual SandFest! Plan to join us at Marshall University’s Memorial Fountain on Sunday, September 15 from 2 pm to 6 pm to watch Marshall University organizations, local businesses, and community members compete in a tabletop sand sculpture competition to see who will win THE GOLDEN SHOVEL. In addition to the competition and beach atmosphere, families can expect a sand pit, sandcastle making stations, STEAM activities and more! It’s going to be a ton of fun for all ages!
HCM is fundraising to renovate our building, purchase exhibits, and cover ongoing organizational expenses. If you would like to be an event sponsor, sand sculpting team in the competition, event volunteer, or food truck vendor, please complete the appropriate form below. Email info@hcmkids.org with any questions you may have.
