Thank you for choosing to invest in our community’s future by volunteering at the Huntington Children’s Museum! Please complete the survey below to help us best understand how you wish to use your talents to assist with this project.
Floor Guide Volunteer: Be one of the friendly faces that help enhance guests’ experiences and encourage learning through play interactions in our Museum exhibits. Assist the Museum staff by ensuring a safe and clean environment on the Museum floor. Keep an eye out for lost children and keep exhibits organized so that all patrons can enjoy the interactive exhibits.
Tour Guide Volunteer: Lead scheduled group tours of museum exhibits and enrich museum visitors’ experiences by providing insight. Additional training required. Hours vary.
Fundraising: Volunteers will plan and host fundraisers as well as recruit sponsors.
Community Outreach: Volunteers will attend community events with HCM information and STEAM activities, recruit and contact potential new volunteers, identify and connect with possible nonprofit partners, and connect with organizations that provide services to struggling families and children with special needs to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
Other: Various other volunteer opportunities exist and information will be shared upon request. Other opportunities may include data entry, gardening and weeding, program development and delivery, event planning, graphic design, and more.
