Field Trips

Huntington Children’s Museum is excited to partner with schools, daycares, and local organizations to provide meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that align with classroom goals.

Our standard field trips are two hours in length, though we are happy to adjust for shorter or longer visits as needed. Each field trip includes a 20-minute STREAM-based activity designed for your students’ grade level and aligned with West Virginia science standards.

Group Management

For larger groups, we may divide students into smaller groups to ensure that everyone has time to fully engage with our exhibits. Each group must have an adult leader provided by your school or organization. Leaders will receive a schedule card at check-in so that every student has the opportunity to rotate through all exhibits.

At HCM, our mission is to foster intentional play to cultivate future generations of lifelong learners, leaders, and problem-solvers. We look forward to welcoming your students and creating a memorable day of exploration, discovery, and fun.
