KidsFest is a vibrant, multi-day festival that brings together local businesses, organizations, and community members to celebrate children through a wide variety of family-friendly events. KidsFest events take place at Huntington Children’s Museum and partner locations throughout the community, including Marshall University, the Huntington Mall, Huntington Museum of Art, and other local organizations.
This week-long celebration showcases the incredible treasures already in our community while creating space for new experiences to emerge. From hands-on science to messy outdoor play, live shows to volunteer opportunities, KidsFest offers something for every age and interest.
KidsFest proudly serves as a fundraiser for Huntington Children’s Museum, supporting our mission to foster intentional play and expand access to meaningful learning experiences for children in our region.

Museum admission is free for children throughout KidsFest and adults pay regular price ($10 or $2 if a family received SNAP or WIC benefits). Remember to check details regarding the cost of offsite events (many are free as well)!
