Power Up! A Utility Adventure!

Discover the vehicles, tools, and technology that help power our community. Thanks to a partnership with Appalachian Power, children will have the opportunity to get an up-close look at utility vehicles, meet the professionals who operate them, and learn about the important work they do every day.

Children will also put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building a protective container for a raw egg. Once their creations are complete, the eggs will be lifted high into the air and dropped. Will their designs survive the fall? There’s only one way to find out!

Join us for an afternoon of engineering, exploration, and hands-on discovery as we learn how utilities keep our communities connected, powered, and moving forward.
