Step back in time and make some new memories during Back in My Day: Grandparents Weekend, September 11–13 at Huntington Children’s Museum!
Throughout the Museum, families can explore tables filled with old-school technology—from typewriters and rotary phones to encyclopedias, VHS tapes, phone books, and more. Children can discover how things worked “back in the day,” while grandparents and other grownups share stories, memories, and a little firsthand expertise.
We’ll also have art activities and conversation prompts designed to get generations creating, talking, laughing, and learning together. It’s a weekend all about connection, curiosity, and discovering just how much the world has changed.
Admission is FREE for everyone all three days: Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13. Museum hours are 10am – 5pm
